Board

During autumn 2018 Sofia Kvarnbo holds the position of President of the Board. The easiest way to get in contact with the Board through the President is by sending an email to the ordf@projekt6.se (for example if you want to attend any of our board meetings or have a question).

What does the Board do?

The complete Board consists of the President, Treasurer and other Board Members.

The Board is responsible for the strategic and long term part of the Organization´s operations. This includes to ensure that reports, project plans, applications and budgets are written in a correct and timely manner. The Board is also responsible for the General Members’ Meeting – P6’ highest decision making instance where the Members get to take part through direct democracy. The Board is the employer of the Coordinator and other potentially payed positions. It is the Board that elects P6’ Officers.

How is the Board elected?

Board Members (including the President and Treasurer) are chosen for a term of one year and are elected by the Organization’s Members at the General Members’ Meeting that precedes the one year term. The President, Treasurer and two Board Members (from P6) have their term during the calendar year (from the 1st of January till the 31st of December), and two Board Members (from P6) have their term from the 1st of July till the 31st of June.

Two Board positions are reserved for representatives from Lund University Student Unions (LUS) respective The Curator College (KK). These are not elected by P6’ members, but by their own organizations.
